About
“I grew up learning that some desires were wrong — like wanting to carry a bag. Not as a boy. Not in Italy.” 10.03.53 is an experimental leather goods brand born from a deep inner tension — between legacy and liberation. Founder Luca Colosimo grew up in a world shaped by discipline and tradition. As a child, he was drawn to bags — objects forbidden to him for being associated with femininity and nonconformity. Today, they have become intimate manifestos of freedom. Each piece is an organic sculpture, shaped by hand from discarded materials: leather scraps, cellulose, concrete… What the industry discards, the brand reclaims and transforms into objects imbued with meaning and presence. Form follows gesture. Matter becomes emotion. 10.03.53 embraces radical minimalism — raw, sensual, and deliberate. No ornament, no excess: every line is intentional, every volume built to endure. The bags resist trends and seasons. They are timeless, not static; precise, not decorative. A design language rooted in instinct and permanence. The brand celebrates difference and resists categorization. Gender neutrality here is not a concept or a trend — it is a space of freedom, movement, and self-expression. The name 10.03.53 is a tribute to Luca’s father — a birth date turned into a declaration. A way of saying: “I come from there, but I go my own way.” Born in Italy, the designer has made Paris his chosen home — a city that gave the project space to grow, and roots to stand on.
