THE CONCRETE BAGUETTE

Concrete, a symbol of modernity, combines with vegetable-tanned leather to blend brutalist and neoclassical inspirations into our new bag.

The concrete piece required 6 months of development in our Parisian studio to master its weight, resistance and texture.

While the leather, treated to be water-repellent, asserts its volume by reflecting light, the mineral look of the concrete absorbs it.

We like to refer to Louis Kahn to define this duality: I sense light as the giver of all presences, and material as spent light.
